Fuarevi @Power Media Group, Turkey
About
In 2001, conducting a thorough market analysis, I identified significant challenges inherent in traditional exposition events, including high exhibitor costs, advertising intricacies, and post-event follow-up complexities. This insight motivated me to conceive Fuarevi.com, an interactive virtual exposition platform, in collaboration with Power Media Group. The vision was to create a virtual trade exposition center where companies could showcase products in a virtual booth, replicating traditional fair logic. This platform allowed companies to sell products online at special fair prices and engage in real-time interactions with their target audience, providing exhibitors and visitors with various useful free applications.
Fuarevi became the pioneering interactive virtual expo center, enabling exhibitors to connect with a broader audience, showcase products, and engage in real-time communication. The initiative garnered hundreds of corporate subscribers and established partnerships with prominent institutions like Pamukbank, Power Media Group, Expochannel TV, Bnet, and eStore. Fuarevi was designed as a continuous virtual fair system, operating 24/7 and throughout the year through communication channels such as the web, SMS, TV, and Call Center.
Featuring a product module for detailed presentations and categorization, visitors could add desired products to their carts via the e-commerce module and place orders seamlessly. This innovative project allowed exhibitors to reach extensive audiences, present innovations, and interact in real time, marking a transformative moment in virtual exhibitions.
I designed the entire project, managed development, led the development team, secured partnerships, and formulated the marketing strategy. The project attracted numerous exhibitors and gained extensive media coverage across Turkey.
