The International Turkey Ukraine Business People Association (TUİD) was founded in 2004 in the capital city of Ukraine, Kyiv, by a group of Turkish businessmen under the auspices of the Republic of Turkey Embassy in Kyiv. TUID operates from its headquarters in Kyiv, with branches spread across Ukraine and a representative office in Istanbul. Ongoing efforts are being made to establish branches in other cities within Ukraine.

The association boasts a distinguished membership that includes prominent Turkish companies and institutions such as Eczacıbaşı, Arkas Holding, Turkish Airlines (THY), the largest Turkish bank in Ukraine (Credit Europe), Lifecell (Turkcell), Onur Construction, Dalgakıran, Nobel Pharmaceuticals, Colin's, Evyap, along with leading international groups in the country such as EBRD, Arcelor Mittal, BASF, Hilton, Intercontinental, and Reckitt Benkiser, all featuring Turkish executives in Ukraine.

The Investment Conference, organized by the International Turkish Ukrainian Businessmen Association and the American Chamber of Commerce, aimed to promote research in investment management. Its key goals were to create a platform for information exchange, offer companies a chance to showcase recent industry developments, and facilitate networking.

The conference addressed important topics such as emerging markets, investment opportunities, understanding the investment landscape in Ukraine, exploring fintech, and investing in tech startups.

I had the privilege of participating as a speaker at the conference. My presentation focused on fintech solutions, the impact of tech startups on the national economy, and the investment opportunities available for venture capitalists and investors.
