Wisconsin International University Ukraine / Concordia University
About
Concordia Ukraine was established in 1997 as Ukrainian-American Liberal Arts Institute “Wisconsin International University Ukraine”.
In 2017, our longterm partner Concordia University Wisconsin / Ann Arbor (https://www.cuw.edu, https://www.cuaa.edu) became the official co-founder of the Ukrainian-American Concordia University. For us it is a great honor that our co-founder agreed to use the word-symbol Concordia in our new name! The meaning of the word Concordia – consensus, agreement, peace – is gaining more and more importance and weight in the historical development of the world, countries, society and individual.
ConcordiaUA is licensed and accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the State Accrediting Board of Ukraine, as well as by the International Accrediting Board FIBAA, to offer Bachelor and Master Programs on site and distantly for Ukrainian and international students, as well as In-Service Training and Preparatory Department Programs.
In 2014, I established a collaboration with RE/MAX USA, obtaining the master franchise rights for Ukraine. In this capacity, I orchestrated and led a highly skilled team that propelled RE/MAX to become the premier brokerage firm in the country. While investigating emerging market trends, the rapid shifts in behavior among the new generation captured my interest. Recognizing universities as optimal hubs for comprehensive analyses of youth and societal changes, I reached out to several professors, seeking their perspectives and leveraging their expertise. Following multiple meetings and idea exchanges, these educators deemed me a valuable asset to their programs, leading to an invitation to teach at Wisconsin International University Ukraine.
Over a span of three years, I had the privilege of instructing both undergraduate and graduate students. During this duration, I delivered courses such as "Monetary Theories and Banking Systems" and "Risk Management" to Business Administration students and "Marketing Management" and "Business Policies" to the MBA cohort. My deliberate incorporation of a digital transformation focus is noteworthy, elucidating its profound impact on business decisions within the lecture curriculum.
