Galatasaraylılar Association

The Galatasaraylılar Association was founded in 1908 and officially registered as the "Mekteb-i Sultani Talebe-i Kadimesi" after the enactment of the Societies Law in 1909, as indicated by the official announcement dated August 12, 1909, from the Beyoğlu Subprefecture in Istanbul.

The association's founding president was Abdurrahman Şeref Efendi, the first principal and a graduate of Galatasaray High School.

According to Abdurrahman Şeref Efendi, "School is the second family. Social brotherhood begins there." The Galatasaraylılar Association, established with this slogan, is a modern-day organization with 6,700 active members, consisting of graduates of Galatasaray High School. The association aims to develop projects among graduates, strengthen professional networks, and contribute to society by undertaking social responsibility projects.
